Location of Etna Pottery Experience
A private laboratory, just 20 minutes away from Etna volcano – South Side, you’ll arrive in Ragalna.
Together with Mrs. Santina who, with her artistic skills, will help us create our ornament or jewelry.
Learn how to use the pottery wheel. Make your own artwork in terracotta with us!
During the experience, guests will have fun with local residents and also learn some Sicilian tongue twisters!
AND… you will be delighted with a glass of local liqueur flavored with Etna apples and almond pastries.

DURATION
about 3 hours
and also customizable depending on your needs.
In 3 hours the experience can be divided into 2 phases:
- manipulation of clay
- cold painting and varnishing of an already cooked object
Also, Mrs. Santina will you introduce the creation of a bijoux or key ring with lava stone and ceramic or an element that they themselves have painted but cold painting since it would take another 12 hours in the oven to become pottery.
